PhD Students
Shilpa is a PhD student and she is working on the electrical and optoelectronic characterisations of ultrathin ferroelectric materials. She completed her Master's degree in Chemistry from MNIT Jaipur, India, where she worked on electrochemical devices. Her research interests include ferroelectric nanodevices and their applications in In-memory computing, and sensing. She enjoys playing badminton, traveling and exploring music.
Starting September 2026
Co-supervised with Prof. Dimitra Georgiadou
Co-supervised with Dr. Nema Abdelazim
Yueyu is a PhD student working on the optical and optoelectronic characterization of low-dimensional materials and nanodevices. He completed an integrated Master of Engineering (MEng) degree at the University of Southampton, where his individual project focused on memristive devices. His research interests include 0D and 2D materials and their applications in optoelectronic devices and physical unclonable functions. Outside of research, he enjoys travelling, watching Formula 1 and football.
